This cover is so cool, you really have to blow up the image to see it or get one for yourself. The detail on all of the people and on the cobblestones is fascinating. The small groupings of bricks here and there add a bit of texture to otherwise empty areas.
But really, Cole is getting away with this beautiful cover with just flay yellow, blue, and red? How is that possible? Sure there's a ton of ink, but still - that's no small feat. Don't you just love the big small city? The color adding depth and layers, even if it's just the 3 primary ones. I didn't even have to talk about the man on the ledge, and he's all that this is about!
I'm actually a bit sad of the grade on this one, because it looks a lot better than it got. Defects you really can't see detract from it, but at least she looks like a million!

Got to love the theme of the prisoner running through the swamp to escape the cops, but not as much as that sunset! Cole had a limited amount of space to work with since the title takes up 1/3 of the page and then there's the story blurbs at the bottom but he sure made the most of it! The colors here are brilliant too.

A complete classic cover for any genre. I even put it on a t-shirt! :D This one has skyrocketed in popularity over the last few years. If I could get some of the creases out (and get a better scan!) it would be even better!
