The best rogues gallery in comicdom gets one bigger in this issue! In a striking black cover with Spidey identified only by the red trim in his costume he's outshined by the Molten Man!!! Mark Raxton would go on to be a thorn in Peter's side for years, first as mainly losing his mind because his skin is like molten lava, but then even after he can control his powers better he still had a few screws loose.
Not to be outdone, but Peter has a notable moment in his life in this issue as well when he graduates high school! Stan would to go to say that he wished he'd kept Peter in school longer, but how did he know Spidey would go on to become the fixture that he did? No worries! I think he made out ok. ;)
Key Comments: Origin and 1st appearance of the Molten Man (Mark Raxton). Peter Parker graduates high school.
