After I purchased this I saw an 8.5 up for Bid. I decided to go after that as well. I did not get it. On elf my first comic books I ever read was Fear #8. That book was a reprint of two older books. That artwork that was reprinted is what made me look at this issue and decided I needed to have it. A younger goal of mine was to get these older Journey into Mystery books along with Tales to Astonish. I felt, at that age anyway, that I was the only one who wanted those books. It was a quest I never went after.
Purchased in auction from Comic Link for $65.(Incomplete)

I have the two issues that book end this. I hope that after I turn them in, they will be both a .5. I think I would rather be disappointed if they came back a 1. Which has happened to me already once. You would think that I would be striving for a 9.8 and received a 9.6.

Which one was a better title, the Mighty Thor or Journey into Mystery with the Mighty Thor? There is such a deep rich history from the Marvel side of Comics. I can't imagine what it was like when Marvel switched their biggest horror titles into their biggest hero titles. In the sixties the universe was growing. It wasn't until the eighties that I was introduced to Their, not from the Norse Mythology, but from a certain Secret War held by the Beyonder.
