This was a reprint offered by Burger King in their kids meal back in 2002. It contains three stories; "Surfs Up, Monsters Down!", "Witch Pitch!", and "How I Spent My Winter Break!"
- Reprints the cover to Scooby Doo #52 of the 1997 Series
- "Surfs Up, Monsters Down! came from Issue #24 of the 1997 Series
- "Witch Pitch!" came from Issue #37 of the 1997 Series
- "How I Spent My Winter Break!" Issue #4 of the 1997 Series
Copy purchased off of MyComicShop.com to be signed. My childhood copy from Burger King has long since been signed by Joe Staton so a new clean copy was needed for signature series.
Garden State Comic Fest 1/28/23: Scooby Doo Remarque by Joe Staton with signature.
Agents of Slabs Facilitated
Note: This was past the two year window that Joe Staton did his smaller remarques with a black box around the figure like a picture frame. 2021 & 2022 remarques have a black box around the character. Starting back in 2023, Joe does a black or some type of scribbling around the remarque to help project it better on the cover, and they are larger than previously done in 2021 & 2022. Prior to the pandemic, Joe did very small remarques without a window.
As of the time of this writing; 6/25/23...
- This is the sole copy in the Signature Series Census
- There are 14 Blue Labels: 9.8 x 2, 9.6 x 4, 9.4 x 6, 9.0 x 1, & 8.0 x 1
- From the 1997 Series including variant covers and annuals this comic has the distinction of the most graded copies in
any label.

Purchased in 2023 from King Kong Comic Con from a great vendor who had misplaced this book and took about a half hour searching and then found me on the show floor to show. Couldn't pass up the $5 grab knowing where it would be going.
Planned for Heroes Con 2023 but things happened. Done in "2024" instead remarque by Joe Staton 6/23/24.
