Set Description:

There are some great story arcs in this run of Batman. Editor Denny O’Neil took over in 1986 with issue 401, beginning the post-Crisis era for Batman.The Mid-80s makeover on title knocked it out of the park with the classic Year One story arc by Frank Miller and David Mazzucchelli (#404-407). Jason Todd, the second Robin was also reintroduced in issue 408 with a revamped origin. The next story arc, Ten Nights of the Beast (#417-420) was a reflection of the Cold War era and introduced supervillain KGBeast. The controversial A Death in the Family (#426-429) killed off the second Robin via a 1-900 phone vote system. The next story arcs, Year Three (#436-439) and A Lonely Place of Dying (#440-442) introduced the third Robin, Tim Drake. This run then concludes with the epic multi part Knightfall saga (#491-500).

I have most of these issues raw along with all the TPB collections listed below. I have no ambition to have this set 100% complete in 9.8 grade. The books added to this set are self submissions and covers I like.
