Star Wars Comics set in the years of the Prequels!
This is a series I enjoyed a lot back in the day. It saw the long-awaited return of an ongoing Star Wars series (for which there had not been since 1986). It was the 1st ongoing Star Wars series from Dark Horse Comics.
Its 1st six issues were set prior to the events of Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace.
Issues #7 to #45 were set after Episode I. This provided a great way to provide adventures linked to the movie era of the time.
The title was changed to Star Wars: Republic starting at Issue #46.
As of January 2026, you can see that this set is missing a few issues and could include some upgraded copies of certain issues. I am hoping to acquire:
