Today, I find myself at ease with my Invincible CGC-Graded Collection, as I have conquered what I wanted to conquer with the exception of one. 87. The current grail of the Invincible 9.8 Completionist Story, and probably matters significantly less to anyone else. I congratulate those who have it in Universal Blue.

Invincible, as far as I'm concerned, and among other things, has the greatest branding in Comic Book history. A detail which is not spoken about enough. Side by side, band for band, no other comic series looks as vibrant and as clean as Invincible does.

Invincible was released at exactly the right time, when artwork and design was peaking around the Y2K era. It was released just before variants took over the comic book scene. It had/has an main artist who took unique inspiration from magna books. It was released with very low print runs. It has arguably the greatest comic book thinker/writer in the modern era.

While there are many critics of Invincible, who have very valid critiques mind you, they miss the fact that Invincible has done what I consider to be, impossible. To create a Universe that can rival Marvel and DCs universe. Sure, a copy in many ways, still doesn't detract from its achievement. The chance that another universe appears in comics that can rival Marvel and DCs universe is almost zero %. Today, we have Marvel Universe, DC Universe and now the Invincible Universe.

I am a fan of many superheroes, and celebrate this achievement.

We will see how time treats me. I will upload new books from time to time.
There's a part of me that will always hope for a 145.
In between looking for a crisp 87, you can find me in Battle Beast, and hopefully soon, Capes and Terminal.

Cheers everyone!
