Hula-Hoop craze from the 50s and 60s.
Started in 1957 Steinkjer, Norway. Then that same summer 1957 in Australia.
Australia's Toltoys sold 400,000 in 1957, then asked California's Wham-O to manufacture them.
They sold for $1.98 ~ $20 in today's dollars. 25 Million were sold in 4 months from July 1958 - Oct 1958.
100 Million sold in 2 Years.
Audrey, a dog, and a bird, all play Hula-Hoop.
