Set Description:

This is one series that lives up to the name. The series is most famous for John Byrne's shift to a more comedic tone to the She-Hulk's adventures. It added glimpses of She-Hulk breaking the fourth wall and established a still-going them throughout Marvel comics, and She-Hulk in particular, of treating the comics themselves as the chronicles of real-live happenings in the world.

This series boasts some very impressive and at the time of release somewhat controversial covers. The bookend first and last issue covers are instantly recognizable as the start and end of the series. In between those bookend covers several issues were ahead of their time, portraying on the cover what the stories were dealing with more and more: the emergence of She-Hulk as a strong, intelligent, attractive, and capable female character.

Some of the interesting aspects of this series:
-Peter David wrote issue #12, an issue about a She-Hulk movie being made
-Several appearances by the Golden Age character the Blonde Phantom, several of which show Blonde Phantom sharing the Marquee with She-Hulk and "Sensational" not appearing on the cover
-John Byrne wrote and drew 26 complete issues and part of the #50 anniversary issue
