Set Description:

I fell in love with Earth-2 reading about the annual JLA/JSA crossovers. I couldn't afford to collect those as a kid but I was able to put together a run of All Star-Squadron from the quarter bins at our local shows. Roy Thomas does something really fantastic by creating a team of 2nd string heroes that you actually care about. Liberty Belle, Johnny Quick, Firebrand, Robotman, the Tarantula, Shining Knight, Steel and Amazing Man have meaningful relationships while fighting the evil Nazis and Golden Age villains. While the JSA members also appear, these little known heroes are the real stars in my opinion. Thank you to Roy Thomas for keeping Earth-2 and these wonderful characters alive!
