Lost Valley copy, highest graded. I have long searched for a nice copy of this book. It certainly isn’t rare, you can find a copy just about any day on eBay, but they will always be VG or less. That’s what I had for years. I recently acquired a really decent copy and felt like that was that. However I had long known about this copy, and recently inquired about it and was happy to make a deal for it.
These books are so difficult to find above a filler/reader copy. I am really thrilled to own several census highest issues.

Fourth issue overall, another yellow cover. No ads, a lot of cool puzzles. I upgraded this from a 6.0, and while there is a 9.2 0n the census, this is the best copy of this issue I have seen to date.

I personally find this issue to be incredibly rare. This is my third copy. The first one was low grade and was a filler for a long time. The second copy was nice, but had faded colors on the front cover. This copy has much brighter colors. I originally saw this sell on Heritage in 2020 but was unable to win it, I saw it pop up again in 2025 and was able to get it this time.

Every single issue of this run I add to the set feels like a victory. I sound like a broken record “rare in grade, rare in grade”. This one was brutal. I thought I’d never upgrade my raw 3.0 I have had for 30 years, but this pops up on Heritage. I have the full run, but am looking to upgrade two more to be “done”…wish me luck, I hope I find them in my lifetime.

The fine plus grade doesn't do this copy justice., its super bright, glossy, supple. The best copy I have ever seen. Replaced a vg/f copy I had for about 30 years I got from John Hauser out of one of his catalogs in the early 90's!
