Set Description:
This is my most ambitious mission in comics collecting ($$ wise) and was something i started on in June 2006. initial goal is to complete them all in 9.4-9.8 with the exception of 94 (will keep my 9.0 copy). I aim to get filler issues 96-107 in 9.4 initially and 95,100,101 and 108-128 in 9.6 and 129-137 in 9.8. Why collect this set? these were the comics i read first as a child (issue 126 to be correct) and the Dark Phoenix saga got me hooked on comics and X-men forever. later on i bought backissues and can safely say that i believe the Claremont/Byrne due is the best Creative team Marvel Has had since the days with "The man" & "The King". Imo, this team has not been beaten by any other Marvel teal since Byrne draw his last X-men in no 143 and an era was gone, but it will be forever remembered. I have raw copies of all of them and it is still a bunch of books i enjoy reading over and over again. I plan to have achieved my goal around 12-18 months from now, but then there is always upgrades... Will add scans as soon as i get around to buying a scanner. Thanks for stopping by,
