Set Description:

I loved every week watching That's incredible so what else should I name a set with Bruce Banner turning green...at least he wasn't sick. The Hulk might be one of my favorite visiting characters. I would pick him up from time to time just because he rampaged through the marvel universe. This first book I picked up was probably the first book I ever had where I also had the issue afterwards. Do you know how many times I read Sub-Mariner #38 with never knowing what happened next. I am not trying to complete this set but I will buy books that mean something to me or that cry "Buy Me"

This was it...the Big Premiere issue...starting at issue 102. Marvel goodness....not the crap they do today. Issue 1 after issue 1 with multiple variant covers. I remember passing on this book as a teen when I first really started to collect comic books. I opted to pick up Iron Man #1 thinking I would rather have a first appearance. what can I say, I didn't know any better.

I bought this on e-bay just after the NYCC. This and one other I got because I didn't spend as much as I could have at the show. I remember this cover from my youth and enjoyed reading it over and over on rainy Saturdays (after cartoons). It was the first book I currently remember where I had subsequent issues. I will now look for issue #245 wheter it is signed or not (like this one) is irrelevant.
