Awesome! I am thrilled with this book!
I found this copy raw at a dealer at Baltimore Comic Con 2014 on the last day of the show!
After looking it over with my eagle eyes, I determined it had a definite shot at 9.8! So I held onto it until a signing opportunity came up.
That chance came up at Tampa Bay Comic Con 2015, the following year, when Whilce Portacio attended the show! Portacio graced it with his signature and it was submitted for grading right there at the show.
After a pressing (to be sure) and the grading process were through, it came back to me exactly as I had expected: SS 9.8 WP!!
As stated above, I was absolutely thrilled for this book to achieve what I knew it could!

This is one of the harder ones to get for this set.
I purchased this copy raw on Ebay and knew immediately that it was a 9.8, despite the Manufacturing Defect on the cover.
I gave it to my big brother to have signed by Art Adams at ECCC 2014.
Now it is an OAK!! Thanks big bro!!

This is my original collection copy! My father and I picked this up right off the shelf on the day it came out in 1986!
I took it with me to Megacon for Bill Sienkiewicz to sign. I was certain of a 9.8 and wasn't disappointed!
This issue goes in this set, the Bill Sienkiewicz Covers set and also the Daredevil set! Triple Whammy!!!

I found this book raw at a store in my hometown of Tallahassee. I wasn't totally sure it would reach a 9.8, but I had to give it a try since I was able to get Bob McLeod, the inker of the book to sign it and do a Spidey head sketch on it!!
I'm thrilled it actually achieved the grade I had hoped for!!!
It's on it's way back to me now. I'll put a pic on here for it as soon as I get it back!
