Set Description:
Prize’s Frankenstein is a great title. Briefer’s work is wonderful, the hard switch from humor to horror is so neat, and the books are scarce enough to make for a good challenge. When I first started collecting this title, it was relatively cheap. Not so anymore.
I assembled a full run...and it was quite fantastic...then I sold the majority (as part of a large purge). I still like this set a lot, and I may pick up issues here and there going forward.
I also picked up a lovely Prize #7, the first Briefer Frankenstein, which I feel lucky to have fallen into a few years back. That's a tremendously challenging book, and one that I still feel is under appreciated (though not cheap).
