I recall finding this one in Supermarket as a small child back in the day. Man did i love the cover and stories with soooo many heroes. I read it over and over for many years.
Some may eschew off-white pages for a 1980's book but never pass on high grade DC digest if you see one that has good memories or you may not see it again.
I now proudly display this book in my home office. A comic need not be a "key" to be KEY!

For me books like DC Special Blue Ribbon Digest remind me why I love Comic Books. To me it's portal back to my childhood and it need not be a "key" to be KEY!
As small Child a buddy had this digest. For short time circa 1985 we would walk around saying "100 Powerful Pages of Blistering Battle Action!" - hey we were kids!
Was very lucky in coming across "Vane" when he sold his digests and grabbed this one with zero hesitation. after receiving the book I sent my old buddy an email with the subject "100 Powerful Pages of Blistering Battle Action!" and he knew it meant my multi-decade quest for a hi grade copy had ended.

This may be the most rare non-promo DC Comic of the 1980's? Tiny print run and barely any interest in Gothic Romance Horror reprints - what was DC thinking? Like all DC Digests highly condition sensitive and this is the newsstand edition.
Extending Huge Thanks to vane0326 (Vane) who tirelessly sought out a 9.8 copy of this book and after much time, effort, and expense found one and in 2011 had it CGC graded. I am honored to be the current "caretaker" of this gem.
