Set Description:

I've been a Superman fan since I was 11, most of my life. To this day I have yet to read a single issue of Superman's Girlfriend Lois Lane. Judging by the covers alone, I'd presume the Lois Lane of these comics are on a different spectrum form the Lois Lane of the comics I read as a kid and know today.

I remember seeing a picture of Lois Lane #129 (Feb 1973) in a price guide as a kid in the mid '90s and thinking to myself how I would like to have some of these "old" books. LL #129 has a yellow background, and a dilemma for Superman; save his girlfriend, wrapped up against a tree by a giant snake, or save the girl nearby drowning in quicksand?!

My heart is really in Action Comics when it comes to CGC, particularly the early Bronze Age with their 20-cent cover prices, 52 to 100 page giants and beautiful yellow backgrounds. Well, Superman's Girfriend Lois Lane has a few covers like that, from the same artist as those Action Comics covers of the era I so enjoy.

As of this writing, I'm not sure where this set will go. There are several more covers I'd love to have in high grade holders, if available for the right price. Also, I'd only add to this set if I haven't added any expensive editions to my Action Comics set recently.

Covers I really enjoy and would love to have.

#80 - Neal Adams cover, Lois looks great angry also...
#93 - Wonder Woman!
#113 - Giant with a beautiful pink and red cover.
#114 - Yellow background!
#129 - Yellow
#134 - A cool cover with Lois and Superman playing with miniature versions of themselves!
