As a huge Captain America fan, this is a true Grail book for me, as this marks Cap's 1st appearance in the Silver Age as he joins the Avengers!

When I was putting together funds to make the purchase for this book, I decided to fund the purchase by selling comics. To get this book I sold just over 100 modern comics, 2 tpb's, 1 silver age book and 5 cgc graded books.

UPDATE:

I recently just got this book back from CGC. I arranged for it to get signed by Stan Lee, and the witness did me a colossal favor and took the opportunity to add Joe Simon's signature to it, making this book a true Grail of Grails for me!
