TWD 15th Anniversary Blind Bag Variants
This is a sub-set of my main TWD comic collection. Please look at my Just Love the Walking Dead set here for full details of my other, multiple CGC award-winning TWD collections in English and other languages.
This set comprises the 65 comics issued in Blind Bags to celebrate the 15th anniversary of The Walking Dead comics in October 2018. The comics selected for inclusion in the issue comprised the fifteen most-notable editions presented in four cover formats by fifteen artists in the following proportions:
• Cover A = Colour (50%)
• Cover B = Colour virgin (25%)
• Cover C = Sketch (15%)
• Cover D = Sketch virgin (10%)
In addition, five comics from this issue (#19, 48, 98, 100, and 108) were prepared and presented in an an extremely-rare and collectible Secret Text format (known as Cover E) in a reported proportion of 1:100. Four of those issues are in the "top 10" rarest TWD comics ever - read more here.
Of the 65 comics in this complete set, I have 56 graded into CGC's prestigious Signature Series. Four of these also have original hand-drawn sketch remarques by Charlie Adlard on their covers.
Notes on this set:
1. This was my fourth (4th) complete TWD set.
2. I passed through the 4,500 score threshold on 24 November 2020. On that date, I had the second position ranked set.
3. On 8th October 2024, my set was viewed for the 225th time. Thank you for looking :-)
