Shogun Warriors have been an obsession of mine since 1979. I got a Mazinga-Z for Christmas that year and absolutely fell in love with the 2ft tall robots!
Although I was unable to collect them all as a kid, I did get to see the comics and later on I was able to get the 19in Godzilla.

Flash forward to adulthood - once I actually had the discretionary money to start looking for all those "cool things" I could never have as a kid, mint in box Shogun Warriors was top of my list of must haves!
I started looking for and collecting all the US released Shoguns and was finally able to finish the set, to include variants of Dragun, Raydeen, Gaiking, Mazinga and Godzilla. I was also able to get the Rodan, Golderak, Diamos and the mecanized Zargon!

Then I turned my attention towards the Marvel set.
Now I'm only three away from completing that set, and it remains one of my favorite comic series and overall collections.
I'm still holding onto the hopes of seeing a Major Motion Picture one day.... Pacific Rim and the Transformers series have paved the way!!!
