Found and bought all raw. The Bug Hunt for me is finding these Aliens treasures in the condition I appreciate, no matter the time or energy it takes, and then sending them off to CGC for grading, being excited with pure joy every step of the way.
Watched Aliens the film the first time when I was 11 in 1990 and got hooked. The first comic I ever bought was Aliens: Earth War #1 the first time I walked into my local comic book shop soon after. Collected every Aliens issue until 1994 but lost them in a fire in 1998. Just recently started collecting again in 2022 and have obtained every issue from 1988-1994, but this first volume was the hardest to find (besides Earth War#1 2nd print) for some prints especially #5 3rd print and #2 4th print. Had to message every seller I could find that had high-grade copies, that didn't have the printing listed and asked what month and print it said inside to see if I could luck out and eventually I did on each issue. Took a lot of work and time searching across varying websites, platforms, and U.S. comic shops, and now am getting them all graded as I can afford it like everybody else.
