Here's one of Cole's short-lived crime series:








Often with his bright colors and a few with the story images on the covers. This is one of those that the numbers don't go in order, as the first issue is #8 and the last is #5. High grade copies are possible, but very hard to come by. Overall I'm happy with the grades of the issues I've been able to locate.

This is one of those pre-code crime runs that runs rich with those "true crime" stories. That logo was really something else, huh? It must have stood out on the racks, which is exactly what Cole was going for. It takes away from the art, unfortunately, but I get why it was done.

A great and fun run that is not to be overlooked!
