Set Description:

Cole uses his family of funny animals to celebrate the holidays of every season! This may be the only Star title that started at #1 and stopped after consecutive numbers! From Christmas to birthdays, this title covers many of the special days celebrated by kids, and the covers are cool enough to be enjoyed by adults too!

Awesome Santa cover by Cole! It was so good that it was re-used as the back cover of Frisky Animals #52! I'm not a huge fan of the left borders on covers but this title may have that exception as it adds to the cover instead of diminishing it.

Just 1 question - if Santa's on the roof who's in the sled behind him!?!? ;)

Of the 4 Santa covers Cole did this one may be his best. That's a hard distinction to make but let's consider these points:

1) It's got the Cole colors with the purple roofs!
2) It has a moon casting shadows, another touch often used.
3) The snow is everywhere! But it still doesn't obscure the images of Santa, the reindeer, or the full background.
4) I know he loved to draw animals, but he goes all out drawing all 8 reindeer! I guess Rudolph had the night off. ;)
