Set Description:
This set basically embodies what got me interested in comic books; it's those great Bronze-Age ASM books during the late 70's! This set in particular, holds fond memories for me as my 1st ASM was #183 featuring Rocket Racer! I can even recall taking #191 to Kindergarden (whoa, dating myself here) for "Show-and-Tell". Consiquently, my mother wrote my full name on the cover to ensure it's save return home I guess - UGH! I still have it to this day and may choose to get it CGC'd, simply for posterity - LOL! Now I'm an early 30's Gen-X'er that is simply recapturing his youth, CGC-style. So, there you have it and that's the story behind this set's namesake. ENJOY!
