August 1976, OW/W Pages. Nicely centered, not perfect but pretty close.
Art Comments: Chris Claremont story, Dave Cockrum cover & art.
Key Comments: Old X-Men vs. new X-Men.

May 1979, WHITE Pages.
Another Claremont/Byrne/Austin classic, with a Cockrum/Austin cover.
First full appearance of Alpha Flight, and a John Byrne cameo!
COMIC particulars: Well-centered, perfect color alignment, and ZERO cover translucency. Multiple noticeable spine stress lines that do not break color, so I guess they were allowed. Looks like the book has not been pressed--or if it was, it was a quick press without any spine work whatsoever.

Published 1979, WHITE Pages. Nice copy. Reasonable wrapped, perfect color registry.
Chris Claremont story, George Perez and Terry Austin art, Miller/Austin cover. Almost can't tell it's Miller with Austin's precise inks.
Arkon appearance.

Published Summer 1975, OW/W Pages. One of the biggest bronze age keys out there! Legitimate "grail" comic by any definition. So many first appearances.
As far as structural appeal, the book is pretty good. It sits kind of tight in the slab, however. There is NO extra space between the top and bottom of the comic and the inner top and bottom of the inner well. Makes me nervous...I don't want to shake this treasure!
