Set Description:

Greetings and welcome to my Chew registry. This is actually my first registry ever on CGC and it's been a fun ride thus far.

I actually started out later than most entrants (2013) in regards to me starting up my Chew collection, but I have been collecting comics since my grade school years. This particular series with the writing and artwork has captured my full (and sometimes over the top) attention and I'm a huge fan of the current series.

As of this date I have two sets (Raw set with which include the Autograph of John Layman 1-20 and a bunch of other doubles from 1-40) which I am currently working to get CGC SS or eventually bundle and sell in a few years once the series is completed.

My special issue is my 9.9 CGC Blue Label Issue #1A which is my highest grade and to this date my most expensive purchase (thanks to my lovely wife for the purchase and Uptown Collectibles in Canada for the sell)

Right now my focus has been "full steam ahead", but I really need to remember this isn't a sprint but a marathon and it's more about enjoy the collecting and making connections and networks with this series. The reality is I can't take this collection with me when I'm gone so it's either getting sold or passed on to my son.

So, I'm gonna enjoy the ride and build up this registry set as high as I can.
