The inaugural issue of RUNAWAYS introduces us to the main cast (in order: Alex Wilder, Gertrude Yorkes, Karolina Dean, Chase Stein, Molly Hayes, and Nico Minoru) and their villainous parents - collectively known as The Pride.

<b>Gallery B-Side:</b> Brian K. Vaughan and Adrian Alphona introduce Molly Hayes in hilarious fashion.

<b>Fun fact:</b> When RUNAWAYS debuted, it was part of Marvel's ill-fated Tsunami line. Intended to appeal to manga readers, other Tsunami titles included MYSTIQUE, NEW MUTANTS, SENTINEL, HUMAN TORCH, NAMOR, and VENOM.
