Highest Graded SS, 1st full appearance of Wolverine. This copy is the very first Hulk #181 SS to achieve 9.8 with Stan's John Hancock. by 2 1/2 years. I waited until I found the right candidate. Deep Colors, Crisp edges and of utmost importance, perfect centering. Perfect Centering was a must as there are way to many off centered 181's out there.. Eye appeal was crucial and I did not want a 1/8th or 1/4 inch white boarder on the spine. For a book this special, it had to be perfect. Stan was provided a fine tip sharpe for this book and he nailed it. The final result was a crisp & clear signature located just above the action of both characters and below the title of the book. It's a signature representative of both characters and currently resides in a new CGC 9.8 holder featuring Stan's Likeness. I could not resist sending the previous slab in to CGC for the new holder and new Stan Label. Wolverine's first appearance. Nuff said!
