Owner's Description
Single highest CGC signature series copy. The inclusion of this Summer of 1941 gem was one of the few exceptions to the rule for this custom set. AW #1 represents Stan's earliest work as a writer in comics. Preceded only by Captain America #3 ( May 1941), in which the young apprentice was given an opportunity to show his wares by writing a small story albeit all in text. This also happens to be the 1st issue & 1st appearance of the All-Winners Squad.
