Set Description
Astonishing Tales started with #1 with the title splitting time between Ka-Zar and Dr. Doom. By issue #8, Dr. Doom was out and Ka-Zar took over the title. There were some stand outs along the way with #12 being the 2nd appearance of Man-Thing and some great picture frame covers (my favorite being #14 with the intense blue cover by Kane). With #20, Ka-zar moved on to his own title and next up was "It The Living Colossus" which ran from #21 to #24. Then we see the start of the Deathlok run with #25 which is of course my favorite character of all time. The run was interrupted by a reprint with #29 (Guardians of the Galaxy), but Deathlok went to the end of the series finishing with #36. I've added pictures for each book, page quality and pedigree status where noted.
