Set Description
This was my first CGC attempt of a complete collection in 9.8 or better.
All books are CGC 9.8's with white pages, and to date I have
12 CGC SS books all 9.8's with white pages.
The best thing about this set is that all books have been signed by George Perez and Marv Wolfman. The #3 book was also signed by Len Wein (rest in peace)
The crown jewel is the 9.9 in the #11 spot. This is only the 5th 9.9 in the history of Crisis CGC books.
I am always willing to buy more 9.9's if they ever are found.
Even though they are not on the list - I have the Millennium Edition - non chromium cover graded 9.8
and the Official Crisis Index #1 graded at 9.8 as well.
The SS books were accomplished in two stages. Stage one was courtesy of Bert Simmons for the first 6 books and then the final 6 were done at 2113 SDCC.
Latest update... our #1 spot gentleman decided last year to liquidate his top spot set... so I guess I’m #1????
