Set Description
I began collecting in the early 90's and stopped around '98 or so. When I finally found time to go through the two longboxes I was lugging around in 2013 I decided to finish some runs I had been working on. One of these was The Maxx. Sam Kieth has been one of my favorite comic book artists, so after finding out about CGC it became a goal of mine to own every copy of The Maxx SS by Kieth. Luckily I was able to meet him in person at the Boston Comic Con in 2016 and I got my wish fulfilled. I spent countless hours not only filling in my collection, but buying other people's collections and sifting through to find the best copies. I think I did rather well.

The crown jewels of this collection would be the Wizard 1/2 Blue and Red test prints. Only 6 blue and 2 reds are known to exist, and only 2 blues have ever been signed.
The next rarities to be found would be the #1 and #3 black ashcans. There are about 5 full sets of ashcan's known to exist at this time, so there are known to be only 5 #1 and #3 black ashcans to be known.
