Set Description
This is one of my key sets from when I was young.
I had been collecting the Incredible Hulk and ROM, but I was looking to expand, so I picked up a copy of Captain America 247. Wow! The art and the story were fantastic and I was hooked. I continued to collect Cap until Mike Zeck finished his run as artist in issue #289. I also picked up #290 and #291 as they both had Byrne covers. This run from 247 to 255 has special significance as it introduced me to Captain America. Not to mention it was drawn by my favorite artist, Mr. John Byrne.
Unfortunately, none of these are from my original owner collection, as all of those would not be anywhere close to 9.8 ;)
