Set Description
The series started with #1 splitting time between The Inhumans and Black Widow. This lasted until issue #9 when the Black Bolt took over the title for two issues until a new feature, The Beast started his run with #11. Some nice picture frames in this set with #12 a personal favorite with deep yellow colors, great proportions and a fantastic cover by Gil Kane featuring Iron Man and The Beast. The Beast continued through issue #17 when a new feature (and my second favorite character of all time started with a bang; Killraven with the first half of the book penciled by Neal Adams). Killraven continued to the end of the series with #39, but along the way the series was helmed by Don McGregor with artist P. Craig Russell starting with issue #27 and the outstanding cover by Jim Starlin. Some pretty wild topics were on tap for the time.
