Set Description
Batman: Hush set includes Batman #608-#619 plus variants,
by Jeph Loeb, Jim Lee, Scott Williams, and Alex Sinclair.
This Complete Set includes:
- 10 CGC 9.9's (rare in grade; some are the single highest graded, others are one of the few highest graded).
- #608 Retailer Incentive Edition CGC 9.8 (rare; approximately 400 copies are known to have been produced).
- 8 CGC 9.8 Signature Series.
This is my favorite Modern set (1992-up); a classic run which defined Batman (Bruce Wayne) for the current modern era.
In addition to featuring a plethora of Batman’s Rogues’ Gallery of villains, this 2002-3 series featured the beginning of Batman’s romantic relationship with Catwoman (Selina Kyle).
Jim Lee's Batman costume design was an inspiration for the character's costume 'Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice' and ‘Justice League’ films.
In the first issue of the run, Batman reveals his identity to Catwoman (also new costume design by Lee). Included in the Gallery are bonus photos of limited edition original hand-drawn sketches by Jim Lee in my copies of 'Absolute Batman: Hush' hardcover books: Catwoman (#34/250) in photo slot for Batman #608, and Batman (#66/250) in photo slot for Batman #608 Second Printing.
