Set Description
A relatively short but interesting Atlas run from 1950-1952. The run begins as a crime series with it’s first issue being #3 featuring a Bonnie and Clyde cover. Starting with issue 11, the series pivots and becomes a horror run for the last four issues.
Although it is a short run, Amazing Detective Cases is not an easy set to complete. There are 8 or less CGC graded copies for each of the first 8 Crime books and there are 23 or less CGC graded copies for each of the last four Horror books.
Facts about this set:
I found 7 of the books raw and submitted them to CGC (#s 3,5,6,7,8,9,10)
My raw #6 was the first copy ever graded by CGC
4 of the books are the highest graded (#s 5,6,11,12)
#12 is the single highest graded copy of any book in the run
