Not a single thing, although, while many think that New Mutants 85 was Rob Liefeld’s first New Mutants book, this one actually earned that title and by a wide margin.

SO HOW MANY ARE THEIR K???
This is one of the rarer books in this set which have been graded. Currently there re a grand total of 14 that have been graded with 9 9.8’s. Of which currently only mine and Bagofleas have a 9.8SS copy of this one. I’m actually kicking myself that I didn’t get this one signed by Mark Bagley when I had an easy chance to do it at Amazing Arizona when I got Rob Liefeld. There is also 3 9.6’s, a 9.4, and a 9.0.
ANY PLANS FOR THIS ONE???
Of course. Plan of attack is and always will be to get this one signed by Rob Liefeld the man himself but also by Louise Simonson as it was officially there first collaboration.
DID YOU MEET YOUR GOAL???
Yes, this was one was signed sealed and delivered but then because the slab had a crack in it I decided to bring it along to Comicpalooza simply to finish out the goal of both of them having signed it.
SO HOW DID YOU GET THIS ONE???
This one was purchased off eBay. Lucky enough I didn’t have to go on a wild goose chase and amazed how little is known on this one.
MY TYPE OF SUMMARY:
I honestly have no idea what I read or why I did it but I think the New Mutants destroy Atlantis and then Boom Boom goes for a walk through the MCU…

PERSONAL COMMENTS:
This was the 8th one to this Set I added. From multiple searches on the web it also happened to be one of the hardest to find already pre-graded. I guess I just happened to be lucky no one scooped this one up in between the time I found it and was able to build funds to afford it. Anyways as for this one it’s the Second Issue in the series that Liefeld contributes to and the first from the core series.

NOW FOR THE BORING STUFF
Published: January 1990
KEY ISSUE: Nope, not really. I mean like I said previously this is the 1st one from the core series that Rob Liefeld has something to do with. I guess in the grand scheme of things this was the first cover in a while that really popped out which was a tag team effort by Rob Liefeld and Tod McFarlane… Other than that though… yeah so not so much.

SO HOW MANY ARE THEIR K???
38 Total have been graded grand total of 30 at 9.8 and of those there are 5 at 9.8SS. There is also 4 at the 9.6 position as well as one at 9.4, a single 9.2, a 9.0 and a single 7.0. Kind of funny that every signed copy of this one is a 9.8
ANY PLANS FOR THIS ONE???
Why yes there is. I plan to get both Rob Liefeld’s signature on this one as well as Todd McFarlane’s as well. Normally both are pretty big on attending SDCC every year so I’ll have to turn this one over to Desert Winds or another facilitator for the 2014 SDCC. If not I can always attempt to get it signed by Rob at the Capital City Comic Con as he seems to be a rumored attendee. As for gaining Todd’s Signature I don’t really think there is a way to get around going through Desert Winds for this one. I think contractually they have him locked down.
DID YOU MEET YOUR GOAL???
Nope, I just bought this one… Gonna take some time.
*Edit* So this one is sort of done. It has been signed by Rob Liefeld and Tom DeFalco which does make this a one of a kind double signed book.
SO HOW DID YOU GET THIS ONE???
I was able to grab this one off the World Wide Comics site. Honestly I was amazed it had stayed up there for so long but also thankful it did. Gave me some time to grab those other huge grails I was looking for first and then set aside time to get this one. Also purchased with this one was #92. Thank you World Wide.
MY TYPE OF SUMMARY:
Ok for right now this is going to have to be the generic Marvel Wikia Synopsis. I’ll try to pull this one out of the old raw box and write one out to match for here. Until then I guess the wikia will have to do
The New Mutants fight valiantly on the side of the gods against Hela's forces, but it is not enough. In Hela's prisons, however, Eitri fashions a key and releases himself and the Einherjar so that they might rejoin the battle. Danielle Moonstar, corrupted by Hela's magic, fights her way to Odin's sleeping chamber. There she is opposed by the New Mutants, and they battle. Suddenly Eitri bursts in, and attacks the sword with his hammer (though Danielle thinks it is she who is assaulted). On earth, Rusty tries to stop Vulture from escaping, and fails. He frees Skids, and they go after him. Back in Asgard, Danielle Moonstar stands victorious over the sleeping Odin. Sam asks Eitri what happened, and Eitri tells him the flaw on the sword is marked, it will shatter in one hit, but probably kill the person who takes that hit. As Dani swings the sword at Odin, Cannonball blasts his way towards her swing - the sword and he collide, its destruction releasing the Valkyries from Hela's hold. Dani comes back to her senses, and before her Cannonball lies still.

Wow, I actually purchased 4 raw’s, submitted 3 of those with the pre-grades for 9.8 and yet never found a single copy on my own. Then one day I happened to look on ebay just for the heck of it and BOOM, their it is. This NM/Mint gem of a comic already graded already wrapped with the CGC bow for me. Twice this slab has come up, and twice I had lost out to gaining this one book. Amazingly though this one was a simple enough “Buy It Now” it a steal of a price compared to its past ebay sales so no brainer… Bought it and here it is.

*Edit* So as of today December 29th 2014 a whole bunch of these have turned up. As of now the new numbers are, 72 total, 30 9.8 of which 5 are now 9.8SS.
ANY PLANS FOR THIS ONE???
Yep, kinda want him to write a personalization on the cover of congratulations you finally got one Rob Liefeld. But in all honestly I just bought this one and while it still has that fresh slab smell I honestly am itching to break it free, have Rob to sign it, squish the hell out of it, and then allow the grading gods to grace me with their kindness
DID YOU MEET YOUR GOAL???
I just bought this one and got it today.
*Edit* So now my goal has been made on this one. Rob Liefeld has signed this one and now it has brought me to one last book to scratch off of my list.
SO HOW DID YOU GET THIS ONE???
Read the first paragraph, it was the second to last issue I purchased graded… one more to go.
*Edit* This one was signed by Rob Liefeld at Amazing Houston back in September. Of my entire collection funny enough this is the first one I have ever had personally signed by him.

"A Show of Power"
PERSONAL COMMENTS:
This was the 4th one to this Set I added but yet the first one my heart was set out to obtain. This was the first appearance of my favorite character in Marvel comics. There have been many enjoyable characters, Magik, Colossus, Hope and a few other likes but this was the first Character that truly made me look at him and say he was a bad ass. I think at the time I was still riding high from the terminator movie and my icon in Arnold that somehow I saw Cable and immediately saw the similarities.

SO HOW MANY ARE THEIR K???
Holy *spoon* with this one. So in total there are a grand total of 2065 Total that have been graded. Yep, that’s TWO THOUSAND AND SIXTY FIVE. Just wanted to put that into prospective. That’s a lot of graded issues. And why not it’s a KEY issues in the series. Although I do have to say it is still only a few thousand shy of the most graded issue of the entire series. That one comes up in a few. Anyways off topic. A grand total of 589 at 9.8 and of those there are 86 at 9.8SS, 3 with a qualified, and even an OAK that was restored. There are however 5 total that were graded as 9.9’s with 2 of those having been 9.9SS so there is always hope I can have this one pressed after it’s signed.
*Edit* And the numbers keep going up. As of today, 20 May 2015, 3083 have been graded of which I would practically kill for one of the 5 9.9's, there are a total of 864 9.8's of which 129 of them to include my own look like mine, 895 of them are 9.6, 549 are 9.4, 283 are 9.2, 180 are 9.0's and yet there are still 181 of these below this line...
ANY PLANS FOR THIS ONE???
This one is a big issue for me and is my first true Grail of my collection. I purchased this one on a Saturday from a fellow boardie, received on the following Saturday, and mailed right back out to a fellow boardie facilitator (Glynn) to have him get it signed by Penciler and Cover Artist Rob Liefeld. Following that it will be sent to CCS for pressing followed by grading. If it retains the 9.8 it will get moved on to be signed by Todd later during another show but if it by chance goes higher… A guy can dream… It will stay right as it is.
DID YOU MEET YOUR GOAL???
Nope, but I am well on my way to achieving the first half of it though. Currently I am most excited that today October 25th 2013 in the States was day one of the Alamo City Comic Con, and tomorrow it goes for signing along with 3 others. This one is on the Fast Track list so hopefully CCS and CGC are quick, fast, and generous to me on both this one and the other 3.
*Edit* Yes, this one is complete and is back in my collection has a pure corner stone in my Cable/X-Force/and Liefeld Set.
SO HOW DID YOU GET THIS ONE???
This one came with great luck when looking on the for sale portion of the boards. Another boardie (Sardo Numspar) was willing to let this one go at one of those can’t pass up prices and followed by a quick facetime chat with the wife I was able to pick up both this grail along with 3 others I listed at the same time.
MY TYPE OF SUMMARY:
So quick run down here, the MLF are currently busting through a research station, as all evil villains do, looking for Skids and Rusty while along the way creating a little mayhem. Old Man Hibbert “Cable” is hot on their trail and eventually ends up going toe-to-toe with the MLF but aside from knocking out Tempest with the first shot, knocking out Reaper with one punch, and what should have been an easy choke slam to Strobe ends up some how losing the fight???
Not sure what the heck happens but what we do see is the MLF melting Cables arm and simply leaving without giving any explanation of what the heck is going on from this point. I guess Cable loses… I’m guessing he gets caught by the Freedom Force… but it doesn’t really go into it. It just skips to the humans shooting Rusty and the MLF running away.
Off in Valhalla, the New Mutants are returning on a Warlock ship and decide to ditch Moonstar as she is obligated to fulfill her Valkyrie amazon woman stuff and off they go with no idea they are about to work for a complete sociopath in a few days. Oh another cool thing we are finally introduced to one of my all time favorite Villains in Stryfe.

"The Great Escape"
PERSONAL COMMENTS:
There is just something about the cover to this one that makes me giggle ever so slightly. Back in the early 00’s was an Austin Powers movie with a midget Dr. Evil and a character named Fat Bastard. The moment I saw this cover again that’s exactly where my mind went back to. “Get in my belly,” is all that I think of when I look on at this cover. I mean seriously big giant fat guy who’s power is to be a big giant fat guy and Cable not even a quarter of his size with his back towards him.
This brings in mind something. How does Cable not hear the fat man coming? Couldn’t possibly be graceful and all. At what a few thousand pounds the floor could be made of cement and it would still creak like old wood…

Not bad, the white trash look must be in this year.

KEY ISSUE: Not really but this is the first issue that the baby Cable and the adult Cable are seen in the same instance. ANY PLANS FOR THIS ONE???
Not a single one. My overall goal with this entire series is to eventually get Rob Liefeld to sign every collected issue. It is called the LiefledSet for a reason and if I didn’t take that into consideration then what would be the point I guess.
DID YOU MEET YOUR GOAL???
Yep. This one was purchased with my overall goal already met. Signed by Rob Liefeld on 29 January 2011 at Wizard World New Orleans
SO HOW DID YOU GET THIS ONE???
I had seen a few of these posted between ebay and on the boards but happened to look on Comics to Astonish’s website and saw that I could make an offer. Following some quick research was able to figure out which was the cheapest listed and then offered $10 under that. Magically I got the email not even 30 minutes after sending it on the code to enter for the discount and BAM, a signed CGC 9.8 Liefeld of my very own. First SS of the group for me.

This one was picked up off of ebay by an old fashion ebay alert. Just happened to have a request to be made aware of when this might show up for bidding and happened to find one decently priced ready to be placed in the ole’ collection. Had seen one other find its way onto ebay but for the price he was asking I could buy this one, get it signed, have it Fast Track Pressed by CCS, and then Fast Track Graded and still had enough for a Coke and a smile.

As of 15 December 2013 there are currently only 22 of this issue having been graded with a grand total of 9 at the coveted 9.8 grade and of those only a single OAK out there owned by none other than Mr. Fleas himself. Gonna have to remedy this one…
*Edit* So as of today 20 May 2015 there are now, 36 of these graded with 17 9.8's with myself, bagofleas, and a mystery guest with the only 3 9.8SS books out there.
ANY PLANS FOR THIS ONE???
Hells yeah there is. Like the rest of the series I plan to go for a Liefeld cover signature on all of them. While I would like to add a Todd or Louise Simonson as well Rob’s the big one for me.
DID YOU MEET YOUR GOAL???
Nope, still have some waiting for this one. Rob’s Facebook doesn’t have him going to any Con’s yet this coming year and he isn’t on the bill for any of the big Con’s as of yet. Who knows maybe he will be a late entry or something to ECCC or something else.
*Edit* Yes Sir it's another one down and done with and my last of the double signature group I believe by Tom DeFalco and series star Rob Liefeld. This one was completed following Amazing Arizona and I want to say Wizard World Iowa or something...
SO HOW DID YOU GET THIS ONE???
This one like a few others was all ebay’s doing. Happened to get an email saying “ALERT New Mutants 89 CGC 9.8 has been added” and it was all down hill from their. Much better price than another one that was added and still is on there.

PERSONAL COMMENTS:
This was the 1st one that started this Set. I had received an alert on my computer of a new New Mutants 9.8 was available and when I checked on there was both a Buy it Now price as well as a Bid minimum. Originally thinking I may get this one at a steal and simply bid a few dollars but instead opted against it and chose to hit Buy it Now. I guess the decision came down to the fact that it was decently priced anyways and really why take a chance on it and miss out if for some reason I can’t get back on later in the night/morning when the auction came to a close.
About a week later after already having input this one in my New Mutants Set I realized that there was another Set I could also place it in. The Liefeld Set. It was this Set that really opened my eyes to the “What are You Doing K???” of collecting as you can’t claim to have the best of something if you can’t show your dedication to it. So from this single issue rose the idea that I needed to own complete and hopefully one day at least challenge the two largest collectors of the New Mutants in Tnerb and Bagofleas.

SO HOW MANY ARE THEIR K???
So this one is a little better than the rest as far as availability. Total of 56 have been graded with 34 as 9.8’s and only 4 currently holding the coveted slot as 9.8SS. Rounding out the total there are 13 9.6’s, 5 9.4’s, and 3 9.2’s. Not to rare as I was able to locate three others for sale on the bay but still it wasn’t too easy in getting one at an affordable price.
ANY PLANS FOR THIS ONE???
Of course. This is one Set I would like to have signed by Liefeld on every issue. Some don’t really enjoy him or love his ability to draw feet or giant over-sized chests but he is the reason this Set is here. I mean it’s not called the Simonson Set right???
DID YOU MEET YOUR GOAL???
Nope, and aside from purchasing a 9.8 graded copy of this one I am pretty much stuck for now. The case itself has a decent enough crack in it so when I get back I plan to find out what Rob Liefeld’s next set of appearances are so that I can either meet up with him or have this slab sent off for a facilitator to get signed.
*Edit* DONE, this one was another one of the trifecta books I sent up for double signatures from Rob Liefeld and Tom DeFalco. Funny how things come together. To date the only individuals I need left to sign any of these would be Todd McFarlane, Fabian Niceza, and Mark Bagley. Love how many of these books have been signed double and or triple but having Liefeld sign everyone of them has been amazing. Although for my next trick if I win set of the year I plan to get the creators for this set to sign and then slab my certificate.
SO HOW DID YOU GET THIS ONE???
This one was all part of an ebay sale. I have my iphone set to receive alerts anytime certain issues are listed on ebay and this just happened to be one of those. Anyways so I see the alert and log on to see a Buy it Now price of roughly $20 or a bid opportunity. The seller notes there is obvious damage to the slab (Has a good crack in a corner) but there is no damage to the comic itself. Knowing I will eventually break this one free of its confines to be signed I initially place in a bid. Problem came when it stated are you sure? I saw that four others were watching this very one and in a moment of what the hell I decide to go ahead and purchase at their asking price. Figure it was cheaper than what I would have purchased anyways and at least this way I was relieved of the headache and worry when those final seconds of bidding come in.
MY TYPE OF SUMMARY:
I am currently waiting for this one to download onto my iPad. So once its complete I will recap everything shortly in the next few days in my own words.

I remember thinking they had killed off Sabertooth in this story. Later finding out he wasn’t killed in a future Wolverine story but it was still cool nonetheless. Also one of my favorite parts in this story was how Rictor had finally stopped being such a whiny pain in the ass and started to respect Cable ever so slightly.
I guess when you think the guy killed your father you’d have a chip on your shoulder against him as well.

ANY PLANS FOR THIS ONE???
Yes but for now they will have to wait. Currently I was only able to get 4 issues to Glynn for the Signature opportunity that was being held at Alamo City Comic Con, but will put this one into the mix at the next available moment Rob Liefeld does another signing.
DID YOU MEET YOUR GOAL???
No and no current time line on when this one will get done. Heard some rumors as for when Rob will being doing his next Con but nothing concrete following Alamo City Comic Con. Hopefully it will be soon though as I would like to finish out this New Mutants CGC SS Set first before moving onto my big favorite and 12 Issues I need to set up with Rob with the X-Force Vol. 1 and Vol. 2.
*Edit* I am now… Got this one done at NYCC following Louise Simonson and Rob Liefeld adding there signatures to this one. Double signature goodness here.
SO HOW DID YOU GET THIS ONE???
This one was an easy no brainer pick-up with Comic Connect. Just happened to be up on the buy it now page and while I attempted to whittle down the price they remained steadfast on how much they would ultimately sell it for. Happy I got it just would have been happier if I could have lowered the price just a little.

" When the Carnival Comes to Town"
PERSONAL COMMENTS:
I can honestly say I never read this one. Before this issue ever came out Neal Adams had done a Kree-Skrull Wars in the early years of Avengers that had been reprinted. To me that was what the definitive Skrull was to look like I guess. Mean, angry, like a pointed ear Hulk and for some reason this cover just seemed to scream child Skrull. I guess based off that and my lack of enjoyment of alien titles anyways outside of the X-Men core titles I just was never interested in this one.
Big thing now though in looking back. While I may not have wanted this one in the past, it was one that I had to truly jump at the chance to own for this particular Set. In all of my searching this has been the only graded copy that I have been able to track down in over a year.

SO HOW MANY ARE THEIR K???
Another non-key here. Because this one lacks those key stories and is more for the completionist adds the reason for the low number in grading. Total there are only 24 graded with 19 achieving its highest grade of 9.8 with a single OAK out there in a 9.8SS.
ANY PLANS FOR THIS ONE???
Yep. This is one being graded with Rob Liefeld’s signature shows conviction. For me this one’s low response is a big reason I would love to have Rob’s Signature added to the cover. Maybe if he would be willing even add a small head-sketch of Cable on the cover as well.
DID YOU MEET YOUR GOAL???
Nope, but oddly enough this is one that I am most looking forward to getting him to sign for some reason. I guess the idea of getting a low received comic signed from the cover artist for this one would show him my dedication to finishing out this Set..
SO HOW DID YOU GET THIS ONE???
This one was purchased as a set with the number 85 listed in this Set off of World Wide Comics. I had searched for awhile for a copy of this one and just never could find it. After seeing so many talk about wwcomics I figured why not give them a try. And what can I say. Prices are amazing, stock is always changing over, and they are always acquiring new items for me to jump at. Honestly can’t wait to make my next purchase off of them. Maybe a few other New Mutants once this Set is finished out.
MY TYPE OF SUMMARY:
I really need to track down a few reader copies for this one. Maybe even pass it off to the Afghani’s before I leave so they can admire it as well. Until then no summary….

PERSONAL COMMENTS:
Now this one I remember fondly. I can honestly say the last time I read this was when I first purchased this one but it was the cover that hooked me after the dreaded previous issue. Something about adding two of my favorite characters at the time simply to one cover where they are about to go toe to toe with one another truly captivated me. I remember both in the very end of the comic almost stalking one another and finally when they come face to face Cable was the only one of the two that seemed to know each other so well. It was at this point I really understood the whole time displacement of the character and how he may have fond memories of some it certainly wouldn’t help him in there past before they meet such as in this case.
Kind of an odd thing I read not too long ago. Apparently Cable was originally being thought of as a future style of Wolverine which was eventually used in the Ultimate Comics X-Men series where he needed to train Xavier for a future battle and once he was trained and Apocalypse was defeated that Cable ceased to exist. Cool idea and I wonder how it would have played out if Lousie Simonson had wrote him that way. I guess I would have had a whole different favorite character then…
Big thing now though in looking back. While I may not have wanted this one in the past, it was one that I had to truly jump at the chance to own for this particular Set. In all of my searching this has been the only graded copy that I have been able to track down in over a year.

I’ll find one, give me some time to read this one first…
NOW FOR THE BORING STUFF
Published: September 1990
KEY ISSUE: The first meeting between Wolverine and Cable as far as our time line is concerned. It is later showed that they did know one another in the Guts and Glory story line which accounts for why Cable knew Wolverine and reacted the way he did at the end but Wolverine didn’t know Cable.
Louise Simonson story
Rob Liefeld Pencils
Hilary Barta Inks
Brad Vancata Colorist
Rob Liefeld and Todd McFarlane Cover
SO HOW MANY ARE THEIR K???
It’s funny how the change of a writer, and some artist’s, along with the addition of Wolverine and Cable on the cover can increase both sales and graded copies. How the previous issue had only 24 this issue almost quadrupled it. Coming in with a total of 91 total graded, there are currently 32 holding the top spot grade of 9.8, and of those 6 which are currently 9.8SS.
ANY PLANS FOR THIS ONE???
Yes and actually soon. This was one of the four that are currently being sent to fellow boardie and facilitator Glynn which will accompany him to Alamo City Comic Con to be signed and squished into either remaining a 9.8 or hopefully going up to a 9.9.
DID YOU MEET YOUR GOAL???
No but this one is well on its way. With it currently in the USPS system and enroute to Glynn in Florida it should only be a month until its signed and a few more after till it returns.
*Edit* Donesky... yes this one is complete and currently boasts Rob Liefeld's signature in all its glory. This was one of the first Signature Series books from this group that I had done.
SO HOW DID YOU GET THIS ONE???
This one was purchased in a Set of four from a fellow boardie when purchasing my two grails in this Set, New Mutants #87 and New Mutants #98 along with the first X-Force appearance with #100.
MY TYPE OF SUMMARY:
Not just yet but it is currently being downloaded onto my ipad. I do know this was Cable and Wolverines first timeline confrontation but aside from I think three other first appearances from random other Asian bad guys I can’t for the life of me remember the rest of the story….

*Edit* Yes this one was actually returned back to me after I got confirmation that I could get it signed by myself as well as adding Louise Simonson to the book as well. Another double signature gem in my fold.

"Shell Game (X-Tinction Agenda Part 2)"
PERSONAL COMMENTS:
Huge fan of this crossover series especially with the New Mutants and Uncanny X-Men art. Didn’t really like the X-Factor art though but understood bringing in Jim Lee in the later numbers.

I have no idea.
NOW FOR THE BORING STUFF
Published: November 1990
KEY ISSUE: Death of the New Mutants Warlock and a crossover title for the X-Tinction Agenda series.
Louise Simonson story
Rob Liefeld Pencils
Joe Rubinstein Inks
Brad Vancata Colorist
Rob Liefeld Cover
SO HOW MANY ARE THEIR K???
Quite a few graded issues with this one but honestly not as many Signature Series issues as I had originally thought. In total there are 45 graded copies of this one with 30 9.8’s, 3 9.8SS’s, 7 9.6’s and 5 others graded lower. Somehow for the death of the New Mutants Warlock I and a pivotal part of the X-Tinction Agenda crossover there just doesn’t seem to be enough of this one I guess in my opinion.
*Edit* So a few more have been done since this was last updated but current figures are, 46 Graded, 33 9.8’s of which 4 are 9.8SS. I will say that there isn’t another one like this one out there.
ANY PLANS FOR THIS ONE???
Yes, this coming August for Labor Day Rob Liefeld and Joe Rubinstein will be attending Amazing Houston where I plan to get this one and a few others double signed. Hoping Louise Simonson signs on as well to get some triple signature goodness but honestly don’t see that happening.
DID YOU MEET YOUR GOAL???
Not yet but time will tell. Overall I’m doing pretty good with this series at this point and hoping to gain those few spare points here and there in order to at least bypass one of the New Mutant Bash Brothers…
*Edit* Hell yes, this one is done and not only is it 9.8SS double signatured, but it also now has a remark on it by series inker Joe Rubinstein of my main man Cable.
SO HOW DID YOU GET THIS ONE???
This one was a purchase from the chairman of the boards here, Tnerb, following a little begging and pleading that is.
MY TYPE OF SUMMARY:
Storm, Boom-Boom, Rictor, Wolfsbane and Warlock have been captured by Magistrates and teleported to Genosha all nude, where they learn that Cameron Hodge, now using a huge mechanical body, has allied with the island nation. The mutants are stripped of their powers and prepared for undergoing the mutate process, but Warlock sacrifices his last energies to help his friends to break out, now clothed. They split up and try to escape the citadel, but Rahne later turns back to help Warlock. She arrives just in time to prevent Hodge from infusing himself with Warlock’s shapeshifting ability, but she can’t prevent her teammate’s death. In New York, X-Factor and the remaining New Mutants and X-Men learn of their friends whereabouts through the TV news. Genosha considers the X-Men as criminals of the state which will be brought to trial, Warlock is reported to have been killed while trying to escape.
