The Brotherhood of Evil Mutants tries to get the Beast to join them but he's not bad, just mad. There are very few high-grade copies of this issue. In fact, this copy is the first copy to receive a 9.8 grade from CGC. Thank you iecarus for parting with this gem.

This issue wasn't supposed to happen but when production for the first issue of the Killraven story arc fell behind schedule, this re-telling of the Beast's origin was quickly put together to fill in the gap. What a stroke of fortune that turned out to be for Beast fans. I loved the poignant way this issue concluded the story of how the Beast got his fur. Thanks to Don Rosa for keeping this copy in such beautiful shape for 30+ years. I love Don's Uncle Scrooge books and so this copy has special significance to me besides being the first 9.8 copy on the census.
