All 4 issues was original bagged and 4 trading cards was included in each issue, to form a set of 16 different cards in total. Mignola provided art for 4 of them ( the 4 comic book covers ).

Mike Mignola, who is also known for his work on Hellboy, said The Amazing Screw-On Head and Other Curious Objects is one of his favorite titles he's worked on to date. "As proud as I am of the Hellboy stuff, the stories that make up the Screw-On Head collection are actually my favorite things I’ve done," said Mignola. "They are the most ME, they are as close as you’re going to get to looking inside my head and seeing the stuff that runs around in there."
