Garden State Comic Fest Summer 2025: JSA Edition
Back in 2021 there was an eBay auction for a Scooby Doo sketch cover done by Jesus Jimenez being sold by a studio. I had reached out wondering if it was the artist trying to sell or their agent in the hopes that they could send it to CGC. I don't recall the full story but the seller had stated it came with a paper certificate of authenticity and that should be good enough and that CGC would totally be out of the question.
Fast forward to 2025 and with JSA certification I wanted to send in, but was honestly not sure that it would pass as I am not familiar enough with the name (I obviously don't read enough DC).
So knowing that Len Danovich would be at Garden State, I mailed him the book to add his own take on the original Scooby Doo on Zombie for the backside. This way, at least one name would make signature series.
Happy to find out that it came back authenticated.
