Enter the "Age of Apocalypse", with Gambit and the X-Ternals! "Some of Us Looking To The Stars"
I really liked the Age of Apocalypse storyline as it provided a fresh, new look for the X-Men. Case in point, this particular series. It put Gambit in charge of his own group as they were charged with stealing the M'Kraan jewel.

This was the second comic from my personal collection that I sent off for grading while at Denver Pop Culture Con 2019. Unfortunately, it came back with a lower score than anticipated. The grader's notes stated, "cover stains". I looked and looked and looked to no avail... Still, I enjoyed the process and will continue to submit comics in the future.
