Gambit (1993) Gambit 1 Modern 9.8 “Tithing”

Gambit is going solo and I couldn't be more pleased. The story takes Remy (and Rogue) back to New Orleans to take care of some family business. Gotta say, one of my favorite stories...

Gambit (1994) Gambit 4 Modern 9.8 “Thief of Time”

I LOVE this cover just as I loved this series. In my opinion, this showed that, if written well, Gambit could hold a solo title...

Gambit and the X-Ternals (1995) Gambit & the X-Ternals 1 Modern 9.6 Enter the "Age of Apocalypse", with Gambit and the X-Ternals! "Some of Us Looking To The Stars"
I really liked the Age of Apocalypse storyline as it provided a fresh, new look for the X-Men. Case in point, this particular series. It put Gambit in charge of his own group as they were charged with stealing the M'Kraan jewel.

Gambit (1999) Marvel Authentix: Gambit 1 Modern 9.8 The very first comic from my personal set that I submitted for grading (at Denver Pop Culture Con 2019) and it came back pretty good. Needless to say, I will be looking at other issues to get graded in the future. View Comic
Gambit (1999) Gambit v2 #1 Modern 9.6 “The Man of Steal”

On top of his duties with the X-Men, Gambit begins running missions for the mysterious New Son; His first task involves stealing alien technology from ancient Chinese temples which brings him into direct conflict with the X-Cutioner and Elysian Enterprises.

As cards are Gambit’s “thing”, each number one issue showcased a different card. This cover featured an Ace of Diamonds

Gambit (1999) Gambit v2 #1 Modern 8.0 This was the second comic from my personal collection that I sent off for grading while at Denver Pop Culture Con 2019. Unfortunately, it came back with a lower score than anticipated. The grader's notes stated, "cover stains". I looked and looked and looked to no avail... Still, I enjoyed the process and will continue to submit comics in the future. View Comic

Gambit (2001) Gambit v2 #25 Modern 9.8 “Stop Draggin’ My Heart Around”

The story starts here...lol...sure, it does... Sadly, Gambit's first ongoing series comes to an end at 25 issues that were, mostly, quite a bit of fun to read. Remy would, once again, be revisited with an ongoing series (albeit not as long as this one) just 3 years later.
