Newsstand price variant only Chuck Austen story. Bought this on accident thinking it was the "error" variant. Glad I did get it! I didn't know there was a regular "Newsstand" label edition...Bought off of eBay. Sometimes we don't know what we want until it is in hand. I love the front cover, and while most Wolverine covers show battle, some are not as spectacular as the Wolverine leaping to sink some claws into your face! Going in for the berserker! I'm not sure why there were so many distribution errors with this book. It must have been a bit pumped, and hopefully not just dumped. I can respect it for what it is though. Just fun! Not a classic or anything, not even a 1st appearance, just fun! Found a bit of this in the wild so to speak, back when eBay was full of exploration and niches to discover. Not so much the "wild" as in a random place, but more the time being "wild" and missed.
Complete with back cover picture of 1996 Fleer Ultra sealed pack Marvel Trading Cards, to show how far the Wolverine has come through the decades. He's an animal, yet tender when he can let down his guard! Given to me from boardie "Shadroch" when I paid shipping only on a mystery box, which was like a Christmas stocking stuffer assortment!
