My breakdown of issue 22
This was an interesting issue starting off at a charity auction with Wonder Woman being bid on for a date. Bruce Wayne and Lex Luther are in a bidding war, but it’s Dr. Cale that wins the auction at 15 billion dollars.
Dr. Cale and Wonder Woman do out for dinner straight from the auction and we discover that Dr. Cale purposely won to use Wonder Woman as security to capture two human traffickers that wanted to kill Dr. Cale. But it was also Dr. Cale’s way to get energy readings from Wonder Woman’s lasso of truth.
In the end Wonder Woman confronts Cale that she knows something was up and there is more to this and will be watching her.
