Classic Cover! Thor clashes against the great Silver Surfer. I'm lucky to have got this cover! Once upon a time I traded a CGC 8.0 of this book with cream pages and an Amazing Spider-man #129 in CGC 4.5, for a Wolverine vs Hulk Statue! I'm thankful to have the statue, but this issue of Silver Surfer almost fell through the cracks of my collection. It's a humble 4.0, but at $240 cost, I'm so lucky that I didn't regret the trade forever. Give me a rainbow bridge, Lord of HOPE! A clash of "titans" then bonded to form a cause. The resolution, is it too late? Brakadoom! A full-on tale that is "thusly" incorporated by the cover and the results from the clash will echo through the story. Statues have been made of this cover as well, so we'll have to search for those. I believe they are two separate pieces that come together to form the cover. Those are also older pieces that show the art involved with the older style!

Complete with a back cover picture of free screening tickets, or rather $30 off purchase towards seeing, "Godzilla and King Kong: The New Empire!" Seen in Screen X style with side walls of screen action to show two behemoths roaring to collide! Almost as the Led Zeppelin soundtrack of the Silver Surfer cover portrays! I took my dad of 84 years who hasn't been to a theater in 10+ years, and he accounted it as a bonding experience, as did I!
