Origin of the Green Lantern retold. 1st Appearance of the Guardians of the Universe. A Dave and Adams website find in Off-white pages, I escaped and did not have to settle for anything in "cream pages" lol believe it or not a WIN! Crazy Clown Cover lol and a Green Lantern ongoing series. Despite presenting well for the grade and being before my time, Hal Jordan is the Lantern I remember. I was a fan of later iterations as well, but this was the classic. Always Green Lantern had a weakness, and although it was similar in effect to kryptonite, they overcame differently. Every Lantern had the make of an underdog, in my opinion. Green Lantern an oldie but goodie, and yet it comes off the page as new and fresh in the modern age, with many a completist that takes the good name and puts it to good use! That is worth the price of admission.
Complete with back cover pic of issue #47, that has a date stamp on it, for those inclined, and it can be fun to find those in the wild! About to get a solar plex punch to the gut and picked up from the dollar bin at Keith's Comics, a local comic shop, on a random day!
