Owner's Description

1st Appearance of the "Shadow King", a keeper of souls? He devours, and in the X-men Animated Series goes after Storm and the jungle to control minds! Will the psyche ever be the same? Double up and keep the sobriety working! Storm had a past, and on the plains of Africa was thought of as a "god." She was able to control the weather and thusly, crop production. She had friends and lovers there that are maliciously used in this story against her. Keeping with the Storm stories during this time, it was character building, and I think they thought Storm should have a omnipotent one. In Africa and with not much else to do, she was able to relax as a sort of queen and keep peace, but Xavier eventually had found her and invited her to the mansion. As all the X-men seemed to get a personal invite, it was the golden ticket as a mutant to become more productive in the Mutant Cause.

Complete with a back cover picture of, "The Shadow King" itself from Marvel Collection comic books! Iterations that are beautifully drawn and ran wild in the 90's. A very brooding entity that could seem to soul suck you into an astral plane!

Grader Notes;
Interior Multiple Cover Tanning.
