Owner's Description

1st appearance and origin of the Man THING, with Roy Thomas Sketch of MAN-thing and signature on 12/17/2020. Done at a CGC In-House signing for the win! Got to love the humbleness to make that window bag myself, thanking Roy for his imagination and taping ever so securely. Man-thing becomes born from a vile, a chance to escape with it, but the only way is to be ingested. Look out! There is a curve in the road, a crash, a bang and into the swamp to become one with the vile you just drank! Classic Conan Cover, even a death in the issue! Given Conan, graphic is the only way! Savage Tales was a great series full of covers that gave dark forebodings. A lot of them intricate and with full power on display. I'm sure these were a big hit in the 70's, due to regular comics being regulated by a comic codes authority. This issue shows the full display of just what was allowed with the magazine distribution. Conan No Less, Foreboding.

AS2 Stick out your tongue and Conan will pierce it!

Complete with a back cover picture of what it took to window bag this book for the Roy Thomas signing. Very cumbersome a magazine, but it takes a small note and a gesture of appreciation, and the sketch turned out well done and well received! There was the 3-d movie, as well, and a too big to wear commemorative T-shirt, fitting 2 or 3 people at the same time, HA!

Grader Notes:
