1st Full Appearance of Dr. Anton Arcane. 1st cameo of Patchwork Man! Beautiful Bernie Wrightson cover and art, keep it together Swampie or ye walk the plank! Gives me the chills to think it's so high in the tower, swampy go squashy! A very nice presentable copy in grade, with that spectacular view. The Aurora ad on the back is a nice period time article too. Glad to have this in the case it is in, with white pages. Swamp Thing being who he is today with a CW TV show, I hope it gets some buzz going and keeps it relevant. Surely if they can make the written stories into film, it can go the distance. Summing it up with more questions, as the Swamp Thing is an enigma to the surrounding area, but the swamp is big and the stories seem to be tall tales to most, just the same. Swamp thing in the 70's was also represented in audio form.
Complete with a back cover picture to represent the audiophile that was news to this era, with records! The 70's were really about pushing boundaries after the liberty and innovation of the 60's. It is kind of hard to top going to the moon and driving around in a space car, which was in the reality back then, and not that long ago in retrospect. Pressing Candidate.
