Owner's Description
1st appearance of Shang-Chi, Fu Manchu & Sir Denis Nayland Smith. 1st app. & ""death"" of Dr. James Petrie. Some prescreen passes were available for this movie called the "Legend of the Ten Rings", although I believe I let my brother take someone to that showing. I enjoyed the comradery from him getting a "kung-fu" flick to see and report back if it was worth the viewing. Indeed, it was, and I had to see if I could collect some issues. It still flies a bit under the radar for me, but I remember having a shot at it to purchase at Half Price Books! I didn't have the presence of mind to understand what it was, or the importance of it at the time. Live and learn, an expensive lesson, as I bought this off eBay at $463. Quite the difficult black cover, with not that many issues on the census, comparatively, yet there are still enough slabs out there to meet demand. I'm sure that Marvel will not let its few martial arts properties slip by the wayside! Nicely Centered, imo, super happy to add this to the collection!
Like a country western these will have their culture back in the end.
Complete with my Martial Artist Brother and I with Chuck! The Norris, OH YEAH! It was taken at Fan Expo Dallas 2018, where we got multiple prints to give out to family. As any southerner who loved Walker Texas Ranger would do? IDK but that is what we did! Time to break out the TMNT Nunchaku! That was an experience! Because I walked into the photo saying we love you, and Chuck just let out a grunt of acknowledgement to proceed. I'm surprised he posed as it went so fast, I hadn't noticed at the time, just thanking him for who he was as the main focus! That is great for a back cover picture.
Grader Notes:
light creasing to cover;
light foxing back cover;
multiple spine stress lines breaks color.
